A Dream is Born – Trevor, Ryan & Simen, Three friends came together with the idea of creating a league around the wonderful world of NFL Fantasy Football, driven by the dream of turning our hobby into a recognized eSport.

March 2022

The Blueprint for Our League – We established our dedicated Community Discord server. Long before our first external user joined, this platform served as the primary base for all our internal discussions and strategic planning, laying the foundational blueprint for where we would take our ambitious league.

April 2022

Our Identity Takes Shape – As our strategic vision solidified, we unveiled our very first official logo. This marked a significant step in establishing our brand identity, giving a visual representation to the burgeoning dream of FoFFLeague.

June 2022

Refining Our Visual Identity – Building on our initial design, we commissioned and received our current bespoke logo. This refined visual identity perfectly captured the spirit and ambition of our league, setting the stage just before we began inviting our initial members.

August 2022

The League Takes Shape – The moment arrived! We officially extended invitations to our friends and family, marking the beginning of our community. With their enthusiastic participation, our league truly began to take shape, transitioning from a concept to a reality.

September 2022

Kick-off of Season 0! – With a strong starting roster of just 14 dedicated teams, our highly anticipated trial season officially began. This inaugural journey culminated in an exciting victory for the Kentucky Chicken Boys, who proudly claimed our very first Season 0 title.

February 2023

A Period of Transition – As the off-season began, our project faced its first significant challenge. Due to real-life complications, two of our co-founders, Ryan and Simen, made the difficult decision to step away for the upcoming 2023/24 season. Our Commissioner Trevor, alongside Nick, bravely took the reins, ensuring the league’s continuity even as it operated temporarily outside the formal FoFFLeague identity.

February 2024

Reigniting the Vision – A pivotal moment arrived with the return of co-founders Ryan and Simen. This coincided with Commissioner Trevor’s resignation, leading to Nick’s promotion to FoFF Commissioner. With renewed passion and a full leadership team, intensive work immediately began to not just maintain, but significantly enhance FoFF, aiming to make it better than ever before.

June 2024

Expanding Our Community Horizon – Recognizing that diverse preferences require diverse platforms, the management made the strategic decision to create our dedicated community forums. This important step ensures that all players, regardless of their preference for Discord, have a comfortable and accessible space to connect, discuss strategy, and engage with the FoFFLeague community.

September 2024

Season 1 Kicks Off – Our First Official Season – Building on our foundations, September 2024 marked the exhilarating launch of Season 1, our first official season as a fully-fledged community. FoFFLeague expanded significantly, featuring 28 competitive teams across two distinct divisions, all united under one thrilling league, signifying our strong growth and commitment to becoming a premier fantasy eSport.

October 2024

Growing Our Dedicated Staff – To further support our expanding community and operations, we officially opened applications for our new League Helper role. This marked a significant milestone as it was the first time we actively sought to grow our dedicated staff, reinforcing our commitment to providing the best possible experience for all FoFFLeague members.

January 2025

Season 1 Crowned – A Thrilling Finale! – After an intensely competitive season, the Seattle Sharks emerged victorious, defeating the Washington Redwolves in a truly thrilling final to be crowned the inaugural FoFF Season 1 Champions. This landmark victory solidified the competitive spirit and excitement at the heart of FoFFLeague.
