Rules
§1) General Information
1. Please read all the rules below carefully, and be sure to follow them.
2. The Federation of Fantasy Football (FoFF) Management reserves the right to change the rules at any time. If changed, we will announce this on our website and forums.
3. FoFF cannot be held responsible for the actions or comments made by the users on any of our platforms. User content can be removed without warning or needing a stated reason if deemed to be breaching our server rules.
4. The Management/League Staff will never ask for personal information, this includes passwords and addresses.
5. Rules cannot cover every eventuality, the Management/League Staff team can choose to impose punishments in cases not covered by these rules.
6. If you have any questions regarding our rules, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our team.
§2) Code of Conduct
1. League Staff reserves the right to punish or ban players who disobey our server rules from our connected services; depending on the offense, this may be without prior warning or notice. Bans must be appealed via our community website.
2. In some cases, severe misbehaviour, misuse of our game server, the support system or our staff. Players may find themselves excluded from our platforms and permanently banned from the Federation of Fantasy Football.
3. Every player is expected to follow instructions given by our staff team. League Management are the highest authority in the server and their decision is final.
4. Players are expected to report any errors, bugs or exploits to the league staff team once discovered. Failure to do so may result in severe punishment.
5. Storing, sharing, publishing or advertising any kind of information that violates our rules is strictly forbidden.
6. Players are forbidden from impersonating or pretending to be another player, or a member of our staff team.
7. It is forbidden to claim to have acquaintances with FoFF staff to force any type of behaviour.
8. Publishing content of any communication between yourself and a member of our staff team is strictly forbidden.
9. Always treat other members of the community with respect. All interactions should be friendly and appropriate.
10. Benefiting from another account breaking the rules will lead to that account getting punished as well.
11. The use of any external, ingame means or method to circumvent rules, blocks or technical limitations implemented into the game or connected services is forbidden.
§3) Communication and Language
1. Communication between players and with the supervisor/management teams has to be in English. Our staff team may choose to stop dealing with requests that do not comply with this rule. Any other language is NOT allowed unless in a private message.
2. Players are not allowed to share their or third party information with others, as this may compromise their account, cause a security risk or in other illegitimate ways.
3. Expressions, terminology, media or links to content which displays, invokes or approves political, racist, LGBTQ-phobic, pornographic, sexually explicit, sexist, violent, insulting, abusive, threatening or illegal content are prohibited in game and any connected platform. This includes censored and altered versions.
4. Players cannot use brands and/or any other recognizable logos, trademarks or protected names as part of their profile to advertise.
5. Using our connected platforms for direct or indirect advertisement of websites, projects, brands or similar is not prohibited. Permission is needed from a member of our management team before doing so.
§4) Accounts
1. Players are forbidden to have more than one team/account. Players found to have more than one team/account will be banned and will be given the choice to have one account released back. Repeat offenders will find their primary account permanently banned.
2. All teams must adhere to the “Location” + “Nickname” format. For example: Hinesville Regulators, London Arachnids and Tromso Vulpines.
3. Your team name must not be an existing team or former professional sports team within or outside of the NFL.
4. All players must be associated with a team (the team name can be changed at any point during their history in our community). If a player chooses to join our community but not compete, the team can be parked in Reserved. The only exception to this rule is if a player opts to join the community as an observer, meaning they will not participate in any of our leagues.
5. It is not allowed to gain or try to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account. Even the attempt is punishable.
6. It is forbidden to share passwords or other login credentials with other players. There is no obligation for the management team to assist in such cases.
7. If a player is unable to gain access to his/her account and/or thinks that the account has been compromised, League Management needs to be contacted within seven days to contest the account ownership. After this time frame it is unlikely that the staff team will be able to grant back access to the account.
8. Every player is responsible for the validity and security of his/her account and the data entered.
9. To be able to provide our service, players may not mask account related information from the staff team using technical means or by any other method. A player’s rights in regards to privacy towards other users are unaffected by this rule.
10. If a player does not update their team for a period of two weeks, they will be contacted by FoFF staff. If a player does not update their team for a period of three weeks, Federation of Fantasy Football maintains the right to remove the player and team from active participation in the current season and they will finish the season on their current point total.
11. If a player decides to discontinue their participation in the league they will be removed from active participation. If the player decides to reinstate to the league at a later date, their team will be entered into a lower league. It is recommended that if a player needs to step back from the league temporarily they find a Co-Manager to continue managing their team.
